looked everywhere for right van with the 1100kg max, very impressed with towing, better on hills than expected, towing a swift classic duette with alko stabilisher, only problem the spare wheel get in the way and had to come at the tow hitch from an angle, looking to buy detachable alko arm 4 x 4 add on

Evavgelos reviewed on 28 June 2009 a Daihatsu Terios 1.3 4WD (86 PS/63 Kw, Year: 2000 - 2006) with a Burstner Averso 390 TS of 1070 kg.

I have travelled all over Europe with my little jeep and my Burstner. It never left me , instead of great cars which they cost a lot of money and spend much gasoline.
It is the best original japaneese car for poor people.

John McCulloch reviewed on 28 May 2009 a Daihatsu Terios 1.5 4WD (105 PS/77 Kw, Year: 2006 - 2012) with a Caravan of 750 kg.

Very impressive, tow vehicle for use with Pennine Fiesta Folding Camper. Goes well, no real issues. Economy drops from 38 mpg at 50 mph (no tow) to 32 mpg at 50 mph when towing. A reasonable compromise. Unfortunately it is back to the drawing board as I wrote the towing vehicle off 4 days before our summer holidays.
