Mitsubishi Space Wagon 2.4 GDI aut. and Caravan

What I don't see in the above review is the word 'thirsty' .
My Space Wagon ( just called 'RVR' in New Zealand) gives me 31mpg on the open road. Towing a barely laden (delivery run)
850Kg van gave me 17mpg for a 500k trip.

Capt Frank McKenna reviewed on 10 January 2007 a Mitsubishi Space Wagon 2.4 GDI aut. (147 PS/108 Kw, Year: 1999 - 2004) with a Geist LV535 of 1360 kg.

The Geist LV535 is the steadiest van I have towed. We have done two trips down to the Dordogne and Biscay coast and Normandy. No problems, the only things it doesn't like are short steep hills and some of the long hills in France with a gale of wind right on the nose. We have done a fair amount of miles in the UK,Hull to Dover,Newhaven,Cotswolds and what are our local runs to the Lakes & N.Yorkshire. It is the best car we have ever had which is why we have still got it at 115k miles.
