Thanks for this site, I purchased my Rover 216i on the basis of the recommendation on this site, my caravan is a Avondale Pearl custom 2 berth.
I have just towed the caravan to a holiday site and back home all of the above data was found to be correct on the performance of the outfit, I am highly delighted and would recommend to all that the data here is trustworthy thank you for making the decision to purchase my rover a happy one .

Rover 216 Si and Caravan

Steve reviewed on 26 June 2007 a Rover 216 Si (112 PS/82 Kw, Year: 1990 - 1999) with a Caravan of 825 kg.

I am new to towing a caravan but my rover200 1.6 pulls my avondale mayfly fine. motoway speeds pulls fine at 60mph and still will go more easy. on motoway hills it keeps up with other units fine. I have had no snaking problems and us a buldog stabiliser bar.
