Subaru Legacy Touring Wagon 2.0D and Abbey

Nigel reviewed on a Subaru Legacy Touring Wagon 2.0D (110 Kw/150 bhp year: april 2008 - october 2009) and a Abbey GTS Vogue 418 of (laden) 1427 kg.

The car manages the caravan very well under normal road conditions. It has plenty of powerand rides very stably. The only time I have really noticed a slight problem is in strong winds and this is because of the weight ratio and not because of the capability of the car.

Subaru Legacy 3.0R Spec.B and Coachman

Shaune Farrell reviewed on a Subaru Legacy 3.0R Spec.B (180 Kw/245 bhp year: october 2004 - november 2007) and a Coachman Pastiche 530/4 of (laden) 1560 kg.

I have spent this last year pulling my coachman Pastice around the country with my B spec Legacy and i am most impressed with its pulling power. As with any big engined estate i thought average fuel consumption of 22 MPG towing the Pastice was fair as i don't tend to get much more when im not pulling it.Would certainly recommend it as a towing car as mine is a 54 plate and only cost me 8 grand a bargain when there 28 grand brand new.
