Toyota Carina E 1.6 and Elddis

STSmith reviewed on 10 February 2008 a Toyota Carina E 1.6 (116 PS/85 Kw, Year: 1992 - 1996) with a Elddis Avante 472 of 1240 kg.

Have towed this combination up and down UK and France and would agree with the report. The car manages well but starts to feel its lack of power on motorway hills. Needs stabiliser and coil spring stiffeners to minimise sway when overtaken particularly fast white vans!
