Volvo S90 D4 and Elddis

I’ve been caravanning for around 10 years now and I’m a Hgv driver so towing is what i do, since I’ve had my Volvo I can honestly say it’s the best tow car I’ve had. The auto gearbox is very responsive and strong. I recently towed my sterling Eccles europa from Stoke to Cornwall, I used about 2/3 of a tank of diesel and the car towed great very stable with strong pulling performance. I have recently changed my van to an Elldis crusader mistral so a considerable weight increase and we took it from Stoke to anglsey, it’s the first time since caravanning that I felt comfortable at 60 mph the car handled the additional weight with no problem and the caravan was brilliant the brakes were so much more responsive than my old europa, if anyone is thinking of getting a Volvo as a tow car I would highly recommend.
